消費品論壇（The Consumer Goods Forum，簡稱“CGF”）董事會發表了一份聲明，呼吁消費品行業在消除陸地和海洋塑料垃圾方面發揮主導作用，并支持艾倫-麥克阿瑟基金會(Ellen MacArthur Foundation)的新塑料經濟愿景。會上，瑪莎百貨（Marks and Spencer）、高露潔-棕欖公司(Colgate-Palmolive)、達能集團(Danone)和雀巢公司(Nestlé S.A.)的代表均發表了言論。（美通社,2018年10月29日巴黎）
