在于成都舉辦的中國網絡視聽大會上，愛奇藝推出了全球第一個虛擬AI手語翻譯器，幫助聽障人士在觀看愛奇藝視頻內容時能有更好的體驗。該新科技通過屏幕上的3D角色人物，把視頻中的語音內容轉譯為聽障人士可理解的手語。3D角色人物選自愛奇藝可以定制的IP，以滿足不同場景和內容的需求。該手語翻譯器使用自動語音識別技術和自然語言處理技術。除了愛奇藝的自制節目，愛奇藝在未來還計劃將AI手語翻譯應用到新聞廣播、天氣預報等領域。（美通社,2018年12月2日北京）
