巴厘島野生動物園放歸40只長冠八哥 |美通社

巴厘島野生動物園與KASI基金會、費爾德曼生態園、印尼動物園協會、長冠八哥保護協會與巴厘自然資源保護中心合作，共同簽署關于保護受保護的鳥類和其它野生動物的共同承諾書，舉行了一場鳥類放歸方案研討會，并在該動物園內將40只長冠八哥放歸野外。
在此次放歸之前，多項棲息地研究在巴厘島野生動物園進行，以評估該動物園是否適合成為潛在的鳥類放歸地點。總共有38種鳥類在巴厘島野生動物園園區內被發現，這表明此地可以在未來支持良好的鳥類承載能力。（美通社，2019年5月3日印尼巴厘島）
